Public Safety Agencies to Conduct Joint Training at Freedom Hall Starting Monday

Community members should expect increased emergency personnel, vehicles and equipment in the area July 13–15.

(JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.) July 12, 2026 — The Washington County/Johnson City Emergency Management Agency (WCJCEMA) and its public safety partners will conduct joint public safety training at Freedom Hall in Johnson City beginning Monday, July 13, through Wednesday, July 15.


There is no emergency, and no action is required from the public. 


Residents and visitors near Freedom Hall should expect to see increased activity involving emergency personnel, vehicles and specialized equipment. 


This multi-agency training will bring together WCJCEMA, Washington County/Johnson City EMS, the Washington County Mayor’s Office, Washington County 911, the Johnson City Police Department, the Johnson City Fire Department and other public safety partners.
